Ephesus and Pamukkale Cotton Castle , Hierepolis Tour information;
Ephesus and Pamukkale tour from Fethiye, Oludeniz, Hisaronu,
Calis Beach, Gocek starts after an early pick up we stop for a breakfast about
1 hrs. 30 min. drive later. During the journey to Ephesus we will have some
breaks as well. When we arrive to Ephesus ancient city, you will start to
explore Ephesus, the ancient Roman Capital, the greatest open air museum in
Turkey. Beside the strategic importance this is the place where Virgin Mary has
spent her last days in peace. It has been told that she may have come together
with St. John who lived around this area for several years. Mary’s house is not
so far but longer than a walking distance. You can visit Mary’s house with taxi
on request through our tour guide. The trip to Ephesus consists the largest theatre
in Turkey ( 25.000 seat capacity) which is stil used for concerts and the site
of the temple of Artemis which was one of the 7wonders of the World, Marble
Avenue and Celcius Library. Then we start journey from Ephesus to Pamukkale
Cotton Castle . Your rooms will be reserved for your before yuo arrive to
Pamukkale Cotton Castle. Accommodation at a 4* hotel in Pamukkale after an open
buffet dinner. Second day starts with the
breakfast at the hotel and we continue our trip with Roman city Hierrepolis.
Explore the ruins of the Amphiteatre, the city baths and tombs. Than we move to
Pamukkale (Cotton Castle) which is the most famous natural beauty to see it’s
snow white terraces and pools with thermal water. Free time will be given to
tour group by our guide. During the free time you will have time to have lunch
and to swim in Antic Cleopatra Pool. While swimming in thermal water you will
swim in the historical arts from Hierapolis Ancient City. Return journey starts
noon time. On the way back we stop at onyx factory and handcraft centre for tea
